Elizabeth Gray Boachie-Ansah is a former Montgomery County (Md.) Public School (MCPS) elementary school teacher of 10 years, with certifications in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education and English Language Acquisition. She is the author of five biographies focused of famous black figures and their contributions to the world. These biographies have been used to instruct thousands of children around the nation. Her picture book, “Sunrise Surprise,” was recently published.
